كتاب يصف حياة الصحابة رضي الله عنهم في مكة المكرمة قبل الهجرة ثم في المدينة المنورة بعد الهجرة، ثم حياتهم في مكة المكرمة بعد الفتح. ويعرّج على ما تعرض له الصحابة من مشكلات ومن أحزان؛ وينتهي بذكر صفاتهم وشمائلهم وما أثر الرسول فيهم.. إنه جيل نشر الدعوة وبلّغ عن النبي.

A book describing the lives of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, in Mecca before the Hijra, then in Medina after the Hijra, then their lives in Mecca after the Conquest. He discusses the problems and sorrows that the Companions were exposed to. It ends by mentioning their qualities and virtues and what influence the Messenger had on them.. It is a generation that spread the message and informed about the Prophet.
